Peres Projects is very pleased to announce the second solo exhibition of Terence Koh, Do not doubt the dangerousness of my butterfly song.
Terence Koh was recently featured in the 2004 Whitney Biennial. His work has been published in numerous publications including The New York Times, ArtForum, and Arts Asia Pacific.
This exhibition will have 2 openings, the first on July 3rd and the second on July 17th. On the 3rd, we will be presenting an installation in the gallery's main level featuring 3 new floor sculptures, a hanging ceiling sculpture and one very small painting. On the 17th, at exactly 9pm in gallery 2, the artist will be presenting his new band in a performance entitled KOH & the 50 MOST BEAUTIFUL BOY. Three new sculptures will be presented during the performance. A new publication will be released in September 2004 documenting the performance.
Do not doubt the dangerousness of my butterfly song by Terence Koh will be on view at Peres Projects, Los Angeles (969 Chung King Road, Los Angeles, CA 90012) through August 7, 2004. Hours: Wednesday through Saturday, from 12:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M and by appointment.
