The art of cruising, along with the codes that went with it, is now a lost form - activities that form a part of the past of queer existence in the world. Cruising is now well contained in spaces that are safe and expected – typically in front of ones computer. The occasional cruising spots exist only in a select few bars where it is well contained and rarely continues onto the streets, the parks and the other public places where men would express their various desires.
